Why PVHMC PT?

Over the past eight years, Stella Mendoza, PT, has been able to build both her clinical skills and enhance her career as a physical therapist at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC).

Though her main areas of focus are in adult outpatient and adult inpatient care settings, she also occasionally treats patients in the Rehabilitation Services Department’s outpatient wound care center and over the years has treated pediatric patients at the hospital’s Milestones Centers for Child Development.

Stella credits her longevity at the hospital to the opportunities she and her colleagues have to explore and develop clinical expertise in various specialties.

“One of the many great things about working at PVHMC is that professional growth is not only accessible to all staff, but our culture highly encourages and supports it,” says Stella. “From cross-training to mentorship, continued education and in-services, we all strive to maintain best practices and be the gold standard for rehabilitation care.”
