Why PVHMC PT? Matthew Oh, DPT, Physical Therapist

Matthew Oh, DPT, joined Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center’s (PVHMC) Rehabilitation Services Department as a physical therapist two years ago. He arrived with experience in inpatient acute care and enjoyed the rehabilitation challenges these patients presented and had an established appreciation for the collaborative effort of the clinical care team.

As a relatively new physical therapist, Matt says that he has been able to thrive and build his professional skills in great part due to the mentorship opportunities within the department.

“There is a great working environment here at PVHMC in which my colleagues and supervisors are always there to offer support, answer questions and openly share their extensive knowledge and experiences,” says Matt. “The culture here is welcoming, approachable and empowers us to excel in our professional journeys, which I feel is key to our success as a team, whose collective goal is to provide patients with the best possible care.”
