Community Invited to Join Free, Virtual Program for Those at Risk for and Who Have Prediabetes or Type 2 Diabetes

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has partnered with the American Diabetes Association to bring Project Power to our community. Project Power is a no-cost, diabetes lifestyle change and risk reduction education program.
This virtual education program is for adults ages 18+ who are are at high risk of Type 2 Diabetes OR have been diagnosed with prediabetes or Type 2 Diabetes. Classes are available in English and Spanish. Physician referral and proof of insurance are NOT required.
The program will being in January 2025 and consists of 12 weekly interactive lessons, small support groups, goal setting, weight management, and personalized health coaching. Or, if you’re living with type 2 diabetes, Project Power can support you in diabetes management to help reduce your risk for complications. *Flexible scheduling of the weekly sessions is available.
