PVHMC Foundation Announces its 2024 Cherie Rudoll Nursing Scholarship Awardees

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) Foundation is honored to announce 20 recipients of its 2024 Cherie Rudoll Nursing Scholarship. Awardees were recognized at a special breakfast held at the hospital on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, during National Nurses Week.

The Cherie Rudoll Nursing Scholarship awards are granted in memory of the late Cherie Rudoll, RN, a long-time model Associate and nurse who served as Vice President of Nursing and Patient Care Services. Rudoll was known for her commitment to improving the development of nursing through the establishment of new programs and ideas.

The award was created in 2007 to honor her impact throughout the hospital and the community of Pomona. The scholarships will support those who are currently enrolled or who have been accepted into an entry-level nursing program.

The Awardees were selected based on a submitted application and a narrative explaining why they want to continue to pursue a career in nursing. The outstanding Associates chosen as awardees for the 2024 Cherie Rudoll Scholarship Award include:
