At PVHMC, providing cutting-edge heart and stroke treatment is one of the things we do best. We have been recognized for excellence from day one. Please click here to see our list of accolades.
Our heart and stroke services include:
Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center started the first heart center in the region, and we have continued to lead Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties in heart and vascular treatment ever since. Our non-invasive imaging, provided by our Vascular Lab, offers patients technologically advanced ultrasounds to examine their cardiovascular systems.
This eliminates the risks and discomfort of injections or other invasive procedures. Our ultrasounds provide a close look at the body's vascular condition, spotting any diseases or issues early and quickly. For those with known conditions, ultrasounds provide a powerful way to monitor their condition with no pain or risks. Each exam is handled by a medical professional-specifically, a Registered Vascular Technologist.
Since 2003, PVHMC has provided Pomona Valley with a women's heart program to address the specific needs and issues of our patients. The purpose of our program is to educate and equip women to become aware of their heart disease risk. Our goal is to help women in the region prevent and manage heart disease effectively, increasing the quality and longevity of life of our patients.
