Neonatal Transport Service

Since 1994, the Neonatal Transport Service (NTS) at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has been committed to providing safe and rapid intervention for sick neonatal patients who require care from a level IIIB regional intensive care unit.

With a dedicated team on staff 24 hours a day, we’re prepared to respond to a request for transport of an acutely ill infant within 30 minutes from the time the transport is accepted.

For facilities that make us their preferred transport service, we conduct thorough education outreach to ensure proper safety processes are followed.

NTS is comprised of a highly skilled team, including:

  • Board Certified Neonatologists
  • NICU registered nurses
  • NICU respiratory therapists

For our smallest and most vulnerable patients, our transport incubators act as mobile intensive care units. They are equipped with:

  • Temperature-regulated environments
  • Patient monitoring
  • Two types of ventilators to match patient needs
  • Nitric oxide
  • IV pumps

You can rest assured your baby will receive safe, expert care during every phase of transport.

Hospitals and facilities requesting a Neonatal Transport are asked to call our Neonatal Transport Service for a consultation at 909.865.9703.
