Lisa N. Abaid, MD, FACOG, MPH completed her undergraduate study at Auburn
University. She attended Medical School at the University of Miami.
Dr Abaid performed her Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her Fellowship sub-specialization in
Gynecologic Oncology was also completed at the University of North Carolina.

Oncologist
John V. Brown, MD, FACOG FACS attended Medical School at the University
of Kansas. He completed an Internship and Residency in Gynecology and
Obstetrics at the University of Washington. His fellowship in Gynecologic
Oncology was obtained at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Brown is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
at both the University of California, Los Angeles, and at the University
of Southern California. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics.

Stephanie J. Cropper, MD, FACOG graduated medical school from The Ohio
State University College of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN Internship
at University of Texas Medical Branch and OB/GYN Residency at the University
of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Cropper is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Cropper has been practicing in Pomona since 2002 and is currently with
Femcare Medical Associates. She is an avid runner, tri-athlete, and has
completed 15 marathons and a full Ironman Triathlon. Dr. Cropper has also
traveled to many parts of the world and enjoys dancing, scuba diving,
cycling, swimming, surfing, hiking, windsurfing, and water and snow skiing.

Simmi P. Dhaliwal, MD

Simmi P. Dhaliwal, MD, FACOG graduated medical school from UCLA School
of Medicine and did her Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Dhaliwal
is board certified by the American Board of OB/GYN.
Dr. Dhaliwal has been in private practice at Femcare Medical Associates
since 2000 with offices in Pomona and Ontario and has worked with the
di Vinci robotic surgical system at PVHMC since 2008. Dr. Dhaliwal has

Adam D. Hickerson, MD
Urologist
Dr. Adam Hickerson received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry
from Biola University in 1998 and his Masters Degree in Physiology from
Loma Linda University Graduate School in 2003. In 2004, Dr. Hickerson
achieved his Medical Doctorate Degree from Loma Linda University School
of Medicine and went on to do his Residency training in urologic surgery
at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Since 1994, Dr. Hickerson has received several honors and awards for his
research and medically related presentations and publications on urological,
psychological, cancer research, and other disorders.
Among his interests and hobbies of hiking, biking, running and scuba diving,
Dr. Hickerson also has volunteered his talents as a volunteer physician
in the Dominican Republic, Tanzania and Jordan.
Dr. Hickerson is a member of the American Urological Association, the American
Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hickerson
is a practicing partner of the Inland Urology Group located in Pomona.
He is married and resides in Claremont.

Alberto A. Mendivil, MD completed his undergraduate study in Animal Physiology
and Neurosciences at the University of California, San Diego before receiving
his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Dr. Mendivil's internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
was at the University of California, Irvine. His Fellowship training in
Gynecologic Oncology was completed at the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill.

Aaron L. Nguyen, MD
Urologist
Dr. Aaron Nguyen received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University
of California at Riverside and his Medical Degree from Northwestern University
Medical School, Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship in general
surgery at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center from July 1993 to June
1994, and at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas from
July 1994 to June 1996. His residency was completed at William Beaumont
Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Nguyen began his current practice with the Inland Urology Medical Group
in Pomona in July 2000 where he specializes in pediatric and adult urology.
He became Board Certified with the American Board of Urology in 2002.
He is also an instructor at Western University of Health Sciences College
of Osteopathic Medicine and with the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center
Residency Program.
He is a member of the American Urological Society, Los Angeles County Medical
Association and the California Medical Association. Aside from his teaching
appointments, he has given several presentations to the American Urological
Society and has had a paper published in Urology 50(5). Dr. Nguyen is
married. He and his wife reside in West Covina, California.

Nicole M. Oliver, MD

Nicole Marie Oliver, MD graduated medical school from Indiana University
School of Medicine and did her training at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She is a Junior Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Oliver received the "Power of One" Award during her Residency
which was a patient-initiated award for gentle caring beside manner.
Dr. Oliver has been affiliated with Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center
since 2009 and is Board Eligible for Obstetrics and Gynecology. She lives
locally with her husband. Dr. Oliver enjoys spending time with her family,
jogging, aerobics, doing cross-stitch and reading.

Elmer B. Pineda, MD

Dr. Elmer B. Pineda received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University
of California at Berkley and his Medical Degree from the University of
California at Davis. He completed his internship and residency at Loma
Linda University Medical Center in 2001 and began his practice with Inland
Urology Medical Group and PVHMC in 2001.
Dr. Pineda became Board Certified with the American Board of Urology in
2003. He has also been an Assistant Clinical Instructor at Western University
Medical School since 2003. Dr. Pineda is certified in the use of Holmium
Laser, Greenlight Laser, Laparoscopy, and Radiography and Fluoroscopy.
Dr. Pineda is a member of several committees including the Graduate Medical
Education Committee, Blood Utilization Review Committee, Surgical Case

Duong T. Phung, MD

Dr. Duong Phung received his medical degree from Northwestern University
in Chicago, Il. He did his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wayne
State University in Detroit, MI and at Kern County Medical Center in Bakersfield,
CA. Dr. Phung is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow
of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is certified
in minimally invasive surgeries, including Da Vinci Robotic surgery for
benign gynecologic procedures. Dr. Phung has been in a solo practice since 2002.
Dr. Phung is dedicated to providing his patients with outstanding care
so they may enjoy a lifetime of good health. His office staff and patients
are highly valued and his desire is to develop lifelong relationships
between his staff and his patients. Dr. Phung is committed to providing
a positive and caring atmosphere in each of his two offices (Chino and
