Christina Tsao Benedict, MD
Dr. Benedict,has been a member of Pomona Valley Imaging Group since July, 2007. Dr. Benedict received her medical education at University of Michigan (2001), diagnostic radiology residency at Henry Ford Health System (2006), and neuroradiology fellowship at University of Southern California (2007). She is board certified in diagnostic radiology. Her clinical interests included all aspects of diagnostic radiology with a particular emphasis on CNS, head and neck, spine, bone and joints, and body imaging.
Harold D. Damuth, Jr., MD
Dr. Damuth received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Vascular Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Southern California, Irvine. He joined the PVHMC Medical Staff in 1983 and served as Medical Staff President in 2000. Dr. Damuth's interests are in Interventional Radiology and Vascular Imaging. He lives with his wife, Barbara, in Claremont and has two grown children.
Daniel R. Heitz, MD
Dr. Heitz, graduated in 1983 from UC Irvine with Bachelor degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He received his medical degree from USC Keck School of Medicine in 1989 and subsequently, performed his internship, diagnostic radiology residency, and abdominal imaging fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center with completion in 1995. His abdominal imaging fellowship also focused on additional interventional radiological training. Dr. Heitz then entered private practice at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, CA, where he practiced general, hospital-based diagnostic radiology until 2007, at which time; he joined the group at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in June. In this setting, Dr. Heitz continues general practice with an emphasis on interventional techniques as well as mammography. In addition to his hospital- based radiological responsibilities, he has been active in several radiological societies and served on several hospital committees including bioethics, radiation safety, case management, emergency medicine, and cancer care.
Michael Huang, MD, MPH
Dr. Huang graduated with his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. While residing in Texas, he received his medical degree from McGovern Medical School and his masters of public health from UTHealth. Dr. Huang then went on to complete both Diagnostic Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center. His clinical interests include women’s health procedures, hepatobiliary intervention, interventional oncology and arterial/venous disease among others. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Los Angeles Radiological Society, and Society of Interventional Radiology.
Johnson B. Lightfoote, MD, M.B.A.
Dr. Lightfoote is Medical Director of the Department of Radiology at Pomona
Valley Hospital Medical Center, having previously served in that capacity
at the University of Southern California's University Hospital. Johnson
received his A.B. in engineering and M.D., from Harvard, and his M.B.A.
from Pepperdine University, concentrating on capitation in radiology.
After residencies at Stanford University and the University of California
San Francisco and Irvine, his Fellowships included Computed Tomography
and Interventional Radiology. He was certified by the American Board of
Radiology in 1982, and holds the Certificate of Added Qualifications in
Neuroradiology (1999). His clinical radiology interests include CT, MR,
neuroradiology, body imaging, cardiovascular CT, prostate imaging, and
teleradiology. Dr. Lightfoote serves in several leadership roles in the
American College of Radiology, California Radiological Society, National
Medical Association, the PVHMC Medical Staff, and the State of California
Radiologic Technology Certification Commission.
Paul A. Reisch, MD
Dr. Reisch was born and raised in San Bernardino. He received his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame and medical degree from Creighton University. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and a two-year Neuroradiology Fellowship from USC. Dr. Reisch's special interests are in neuroradiology, body imaging and mammography. He has also developed a Percutaneous Vertebroplasty program at PVHMC for treatment of symptomatic compression fractures. Paul lives in Claremont with his wife, Charlotte, and three children.

Dr. Su received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Northwestern University – McGaw Medical Center, Chicago, IL and completed his Vascular Interventional Radiology Fellowship at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Los Angeles Radiological Society, and Society of Interventional Radiology.
Stephen Y. C. To, MD
Dr. Y. C. To, has been a member of the Pomona Valley Imaging Medical Group since May of 2006, and serves as its Chief of Interventional Radiology. He completed his medical education (1991), radiology residency (1996), and interventional radiology fellowship (1997) at UCLA. The American Board of Radiology certified him in 1996 with a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 1998. His clinical interests included all aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Los Angeles Radiological Society, and Society of Interventional Radiology.
Hamidreza Torshizy, MD
Dr. Torshizy received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, and then completed a one year preliminary internship in Internal Medicine at UC Irvine. Subsequently, Dr. Torshizy went on to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Dr. Torshizy also completed a one year fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at UC San Diego. Dr. Torshizy has authored numerous book chapters, review articles, and scientific articles, as well as lectured at numerous national conferences. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. In addition, he is member of the Los Angeles Radiologic Society, San Diego Radiologic Society, the Radiology Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Torshizy's interests are in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). When not at the hospital, he enjoys spending his free time skiing around the world.
Yanle Zhao, MD
Dr. Zhao, has been on the medical staff at PVHMC since 2005 and has served as Vice Chairman of Department of Radiology at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center since 2008. Dr. Zhao received his medical degree from Henan Medical University. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency (2004) at LAC/USC Medical Center, and neuroradiology fellowship (2005), interventional radiology fellowship (2007) at University of Southern California. Dr. Zhao is a volunteer clinical assistant professor in Dept. of Radiology at USC. He is a member of Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Los Angeles Radiological Society, and Society of Interventional Radiology.
